Overview

Part-time Player Assistant position at Pinetop Country Club supporting a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf operation. The role focuses on customer service and assisting with player services, cart fleet support, range operations, facility cleanliness, and member and guest experience.

Experience Required

• Valid driver's license or driver's permit required.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
• Pleasant personality.
• Flexible with work schedule.
• Knowledge of the property and surrounding area.
• Previous golf course work experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of golf as a player and/or caddie preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to constantly stand, walk, bend over, reach, crouch, kneel, balance, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work outside in excessive heat and cold with humidity/dampness.
• Must be able to work around motorized equipment/machinery with loud noise/vibrations.
• Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces above ground.
• Must be able to work with chemicals/detergents/cleaners.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service as the essential function of the position.
• Manage rental golf cart fleet including cleaning, storing, and rotating carts.
• Handle driving range tee and range ball management, ensuring enough clean range balls are available for members and guests.
• Maintain the appearance of the driving range teeing area.
• Support cleanliness and functionality of front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain tidiness around the clubhouse, parking lot, and inside the clubhouse.
• Use time management skills to complete all duties during the shift.
• Keep the cart barn tidy, hazard free, and suitable for productive work.
• Maintain tidiness in the rental club room.
• Greet players as they return from play, assist with golf bags, clean clubs, and return clubs to storage when applicable.
• Perform other duties as needed or required.
